Marieke Visser (born June 25 1972) studied English Language and Literature at the University of Groningen (RUG). She graduated in 1997. Accordingly, she graduated in 1998 from Teacher Training College for Secondary Education at the University of Leiden. In 2003 she graduated as a Master of Educational Management at the University of Amsterdam. Lastly, she has finished her education for becoming a life-coach at the ATMA institute in Amersfoort in 2011.
Marieke Visser worked for six years as a secondary education teacher. After that, she worked for a civil-law notary for two and a half years. During her work for the notary, she started working on legal translations.
Marieke Visser was sworn as a translator at the court in The Hague in November 2003.
Marieke Visser lives in the centre of The Hague. She has a beautiful daughter; her name is Eileen.
